Wild Sovereign Retreat Campout: My Heart Overfloweth
I am still in awe of our Wild Sovereign Retreat campout. I’m so grateful for this community. The thing that keeps me in this feeling of reverence and amazement is the intention each of you came with to practice in a sacred container of nervous system reset experiences in sobriety for the whole weekend!! And Ripple Ranch, I’m so grateful for this beautiful and precious land! We were all working to grow in our own ways, as well as leaning into community, to presence, and noticing. It was beautiful.
I’m so honored at the huge turn out to both my Shakti Breath Yoga and Moxa Workshop! I was so impressed by everyone who did the Shaki Breath Yoga practice and I’m so grateful to share this ancient Indian practice. It was beautiful to see how the stars aligned for us to let go of old patterns that no longer work for us, and seeing how to weave new ones with Eastern Astrology.
Our ecstatic dance was blissful, and just walking the land and chatting and smiling with so many of you was lovely. Alex’s focus on our mindset was powerful and playful. Shane lovingly led us in drumming, prayer, and togetherness in the way he does, making all of us feel welcomed. Lumi shared her heart and passion, and led us in how we can lean into greater body love, awareness and nurturance. I didn’t get to experience Danny’s workshop, but I heard how powerful it was in allowing your heart and body to come into greater coherence. The crown jewel for this Beltane celebration was creating and weaving a crown with the lovely circle I sat with. I’m hoping we organize some craft days from this experience.
Here’s the vulnerable part. I met so many new people, and got to know a few of you more. I feel I have found my tribe. I felt I could be myself, and I was loved and seen for me! I’ve had a hard time feeling like I belong in most groups, so thank you for welcoming me with your love, smiles, laughter, hugs, and presence. I literally couldn’t have asked for a more perfect weekend! I want to be in retreats and campouts playing and practicing this more. Let’s play soon tribe!
