Year of the Yang Fire Horse Ignites its Divine Spark
Friends, we are officially in the Yang Fire Horse Year as of February 4th! That’s right, you heard it straight from the horse's mouth! And this is no horsing around because I’m not a one trick pony. Ok ok, I know what you’re thinking and going to tell me: “Get off your high horse!”.
Well like all horses, and I do have 2 in my chart, so I know & have some horse sense and horsepower, which is why you see me doing so many things. “Hold your horses” I’m sure you’d like to tell me, but I’m not that great at doing so, if you know me and my headstrong qualities. Telling me or any horse to stay idle is like beating a dead horse.
But don’t worry, I didn’t put the cart before the horses, as this lively and vivacious mare horse did her research and knows as any Chinese Astrologer would, that while you think I’m champing at the bit to announce the Chinese New Year, the energies already shifted before the world celebrates on the lunar New Year of February 17th, which is more like a Trojan Horse for the sleepy.
Hold the reigns if you feel like you’re missing out, because I’m celebrating with you and the world on February 13th at a Chinese New Year party from 7-10pm with a cacao and intention setting ceremony (although not enough to choke a horse). We will be heralded with the musical genius of Jay Barhelios with a flying lead change after an energy update from myself on the Yang Fire Year of the Horse that will help you see this is a horse of a different color. Horse play and horsing around will end the night in our frolicking ecstatic dance. Be sure to show off your stallion moves!
In fact, don’t spare the horses on joining in on this do-gooders' cause, as we’ll be learning a lot about what to expect for our year, including that you can lead a horse to water, but you can’t make it drink. As well as raising money for our community as a Justice and Protector archetype would do. As a community, you help pick the cause to donate to, so let’s see who the Dark Horse organization will be! (Also, a sliding scale is available so all can join!).
One thing is for sure, this is not a one horse town, and I hope you’re as hungry as a horse for music, food, astrology, dancing, play, and intention-setting. Here’s what I’m thinking and I hope you feel the same too: Wild horses couldn’t drag me away! Don’t hold your horses, canter or trot too long though, this event is sure to sell out!
