Unveil and Bee Shell

On my last vision quest I found this cicada shell and it was quite symbolic for the answer I had in mind for this particular quest. Initially I thought this was from a bee that had dried in the sun after death, but cicadas shed their exoskeleton, as they outgrow their old body. I have felt like I carry bee energy which is similar to the cicada, as I’m a community pollinator. This was showing up to tell me how I’m transforming in new ways with how I share with all of you. I love that this message came through. 

Later on, I tried to keep this cicada shell, and it got destroyed. I had to remember the lesson of impermanence. All of this is temporary, and I can’t hold on to an old me, or an old pattern that no longer fits! 

If you are looking to find a new pattern in your life, a Vision Quest is my favorite way to find an answer. The messages come through nature, through dreams, through thoughts that are then confirmed by other messages along the way, and sometimes even before or after the quest is complete.

I guide people with the 4 directions and shamanic tools that I learned to vision quest. You don’t use plant medicine to do this, and you fast during this time. I lead a 2 day quest coming up July 10th-12th. We have time to travel there and back, and plenty of time in the void near the coming new moon. 

I’ve been doing this for 15 years now, and it helped me find the Chinese Medicine and acupressure that I now do. I’ll be sharing more in the coming weeks and months on my recent quest as it continues to percolate and help me align. Nature’s rhythms have so much to teach us, if we only choose to listen!
